Two Philipsburg residents report debit card fraud

Two Philipsburg residents have reported separate instances of access device fraud.

State police at Philipsburg said Gladys Shoffner, 32, was victimized when someone used her debit card to make $185 in purchases at local stores.

Trevor Selfridge, 28, found that his debit card was used to charge a payment for DirecTV service at a residence along Tyrone Pike in Rush Township on March 20 around 8 p.m., police said.

Investigations into both incidents continue. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 342-3370.
