Pedestrian suffers minor injuries in State College crash

A State College man suffered minor injuries early Saturday morning when he walked into an oncoming vehicle on West Beaver Avenue.

State College police said charges are pending against the pedestrian, who was intoxicated at the time, but could not say what those charges were.

According to a police report, the man was struck by a vehicle at 12:08 a.m. on the 200 block of West Beaver Avenue.

The pedestrian was transported to Mount Nittany Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
