Man jailed in Centre County on outstanding warrant, drug charges

From CDT staff reportsMarch 31, 2014

An Allegheny County man is in Centre County Correctional Facility after he called police for unrelated reasons.

State police at Rockview responded about 8:55 a.m. Monday to a call at the TA truck stop in Boggs Township from Robert Edward Sizemore, 28. He asked to speak with police about a civil issue. While there, Trooper Ryan Wilson ran Sizemore’s information through the computer and found he was wanted on a felony warrant.

But that wasn’t the end of the man’s problems. Police arrested him and subsequently searched him. That turned up a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Sizemore was booked on the outstanding warrant as well as new charges of drug possession.
