High school softball: Bald Eagle Area powers past Huntingdon

— Bald Eagle Area used a four-run fourth inning to pull away for a 9-1 win over Huntingdon on Monday.

McKenzie Procton belted a two-run double to highlight the inning, and Mariah Ballock had a two-run single during a three-run sixth for the Lady Eagles (3-0). Morgan Peters was 2 for 3 with a double, and Sydney Shultz also knocked in a pair of runs.

Tyler Yarrison scattered five hits with five strikeouts and no walks to earn the win.
