Chip Minemyer | Online subscriptions open digital doors

You’ve landed on our “landing” page. Now what?

Well, you’re about to open up a digital doorway to all the content you could ever experience.

Just by clicking a mouse or tapping a few keys, you can read about what’s happening – right up to the minute – across Centre County and at Penn State. That’s sports, politics, crime, business, education, obituaries, entertainment, opinion – you name it.

You can view the advertisements and special offers, enjoy our promotions and tell us what you think.

And you can do it anytime from anywhere in whatever way you want.

That’s what makes a digital Centre Daily Times subscription through Press+ so great.

You can access the CDT from your home or work computer, your laptop, your smart phone, tablet or other mobile device.

And once you’ve signed up, you can read as much as you want.

If you don’t sign up, you can still read us. But you’ll be stopped after 10 desktop views or 30 mobile views in 30 days.

And if you do sign up, you can have multiple users read the CDT — up to five people — on your account. So it’s not just you who benefits.

Here’s why we think you’ll want to get a digital subscription:

Our reporters break news at all times of the day and night, whether that means new stories or developments on continuing stories.

We offer videos, photo galleries, polls, links and other forms of content not available in print, as well as the opportunity for readers to weigh in on local and national issues through our online comments.

A digital subscription includes access to the e-Edition, an electronic replica of the printed newspaper that is available on multiple devices.

If you get the newspaper at home — and we’re glad you do — you can add the digital content.

And once you do, don’t forget to click on and activate your digital account so you can access that content right away. If you are a regular digital reader who does not already subscribe, you can read on a trial basis, or get monthly or yearly subscriptions.
