Girls’ lacrosse: State College keeps rolling

— State College continued its torrid start to the season with a 19-6 win over Central Dauphin East on Tuesday.

Caroline Friberg and Renee Olivett led State College with four goals each while Carrie Mahon and Caitlin McGlaughlin each notched three. Annie Hughes chipped in two goals and the Lady Little Lions (5-0) turned a 6-4 halftime edge into a one-sided second half.

Mahon helped spark State College’s offense with six assists. Hughes set up two goals and Friberg, Olivett and Brooke Shaffer each picked up an assist.

Casey Restivo made nine saves to preserve the win for State College.
