High school baseball: Huntingdon edges Bald Eagle Area

— Hunter Price gave up one run on two over 5 2/3 innings on Wednesday and smashed a two-run double in the fourth to lead Huntingdon to a 3-1 win over Bald Eagle Area.

Price walked two Eagle batters and struck out eight while dueling with BEA starter Jeff Bennett, who suffered the loss after giving up three runs on five hits, walking two and striking out eight over six innings of work.

Bryan Greene, Ryan Dyke and Brandon Gettig recorded BEA’s three hits, as the Eagles (1-2) entertain Philipsburg-Osceola on Thursday.
