Autism Speaks U race/walk at Penn State raises $120,000

— The Autism Speaks U 5K Race/3K Walk at Penn State on Saturday raised $120,000, leaders announced.

The event, in its ninth year, has raised more than $1 million for autism research and awareness.

Andrew Moses, who co-founded Autism Speaks U with fellow Penn State graduate Adam Dorfman, praised “the tireless efforts of” the student organizers, including leaders Jonathan Paul and Eric Roth.

“Penn State and State College should be extremely proud of the impact it has had nationwide as the founding University of Autism Speaks U nationwide,” Moses said in an emailed statement.
