UNIVERSITY PARK — Penn State football player Anthony Alosi is facing three charges stemming from an altercation in State College on January 31.
Alosi, a guard who has been absent from Penn State’s spring football practices, was charged with simple assault, conspiracy to commit simple assault and harassment on March 21 according to the Unified Judicial System of Pennsylvania Web Portal.
He has a preliminary hearing scheduled for April 23.
Alosi’s status with the team is unknown. Penn State did not immediately respond to a message seeking comment.
The 6-foot-4, 283-pound Alosi took a redshirt year in 2011 and did not see playing time in 2012. He played in seven games last season at guard.
