High school boys’ track and field: State College rolls past Chambersburg

— Will Cather, Tristan Damon and Bryce Williams had two individual wins each to lead State College to a 102-48 romp against Chambersburg on Tuesday.

Cather took the 800 (1:55.8) and 1,600 meters (4:43) events. Damon topped the sprints, winning the 100 (10.9) and 200 (22.4). Williams soared to wins in the long jump (19-6) and triple jump (46-4 3/4).

Other individual winners for State College were: Alex Banerjee (16.8 in the 110 hurdles), Patrick Irwin (163-10 in the javelin) and Griffin Thompson (12-6 in the pole vault).
