High school boys’ lacrosse: State College holds off Cumberland Valley

— The Little Lions got off to a fast start and held off a late Cumberland Valley rally to earn an 8-7 win on Tuesday.

State College got three goals in the first and second quarters before being held scoreless by the Cumberland Valley defense in the third. Meanwhile, the Eagles cut the lead in half then added four goals in the fourth. The Little Lions picked up two goals to hold on to the win.

Jake Knouse and Luc Michael each notched a pair of goals for State College while Brady Franks, Sam Schwab, Chris Seighman and Will Harvey each scored.
