High school girls’ track and field: Bellefonte runs past Bald Eagle Area

— Anya Hoaglund, Olivia Spratt and Kaitlyn Womer won two events each to lead Bellefonte to a 95-52 triumph against Bald Eagle Area on Thursday.

Hoaglund captured the 800 (2:39.5) and 1,600 (11:25.8) meters. Womer swept the sprints with wins in the 100 (13.3) and 200 (28.8), while Spratt took the 300 hurdles (55.8) and high jump (4-8)

Other Bellefonte winners were: Brooke Shirey (triple jump), Cassandra Book (shot put) and Alexis Franks (discus).

Rexine Schrum (100 hurdles), Alyssa Butterworth (400), Maddie Cingle (3,200), Michelle Kachik (pole vault) and Jordan Gill (javelin) won for BEA.
