High school baseball: State College rolls past Central Dauphin

— Kyle Peterson tossed a one-hitter over five innings as State College rolled to a 7-1 triumph over Central Dauphin on Thursday.

“He did a nice job mixing up his pitches,” State College coach Bill Tussey said of Peterson, who walked one and struck out one,

State College (4-1) needed just five hits to score seven runs thanks to outstanding baserunning. Leadoff hitter Brandon Racquet went 2-for-2, scored three runs, stole two bases and drove in a run to pace the State College offense.
