Police: Boys caught stealing pickup truck in Philipsburg

From CDT staff reportsApril 14, 2014

State police in Philipsburg responded early Saturday to two boys rummaging through vehicles parked at the Philipsburg Towers apartments at 300 N. Front St.

When police arrived, the boys were driving out of the parking lot in a blue Chevrolet Silverado pickup, according to a police report. Troopers stopped the boys at 12:30 a.m. and determined the truck had been stolen.

Police have identified the boys, but because of their ages, did not release further details. The case is being investigated as a theft of a motor vehicle.
