Agriculture grant open for beginning farmers

A U.S. Department of Agriculture grant to help train and educate beginning farmers will be available to those who are starting to farm and ranch.

To qualify, farmers and ranchers must be practicing for 10 or fewer years.

Managed by the National Institutes of Food and Agriculture, awards will be given to organizations conducting programs to help beginning farmers and ranchers.
