Centre Foundation distributes over $255,000 in grants

Centre Foundation doled out $255,685 as part of its annual and quarterly grant distribution schedule. The grants were made by funds held at Centre Foundation, which specifically benefit an organization of the establishing donor’s choice.

Seventy-five area organizations were awarded, according to Centre Foundation, which helps donors fulfill philanthropic goals by building and maintaining a permanent collection of endowment funds, according to the organization.

Four areas in which the funds were distributed included: health and human services ($182,223); education and life-long learning ($23,488); environmental conservation and awareness ($13,172); and culture, community, and the arts ($36,803).

Three more rounds of quarterly grant distributions will go out over the course of 2014, totaling $267,533, according to the organization. For more information, visit www.Centre-Foundation.org.
