Penn State-Ohio State football game set for prime time at Beaver Stadium

Penn State will play a prime-time football game at home against Ohio State on Oct. 25, according to a university news release Tuesday.

Kickoff is set for 8 p.m., and the game will air on ABC, ESPN or ESPN2, the Penn State Sports Network and GoPSUsports.com.

The Nittany Lions-Buckeyes match will be the sixth prime-time game in the past 10 seasons.

The Lions also will play a prime-time game at Michigan on Oct. 11. That kickoff is slated for 7 p.m. and will air on ESPN or ESPN2, the Penn State Sports Network and GoPSUsports.com.

Penn State opens its regular season Aug. 30 vs. the University of Central Florida in the Croke Park Classic in Dublin, Ireland. It marks the Lions’ first international game.

The team’s first home game is against Akron on Sept. 6.
