Housing Transitions will hold its first annual Tastes & Treasures fundraiser from 2 to 5 p.m. May 4 at Seven Mountains Wine Cellars.
The event will feature wine and food pairings and an antiques road show by Roger Snyder, of Apple Hill Antiques.
Five area caterers will provide food samples that will be paired with five different Seven Mountains Wine Cellars wines.
For a $5 fee, attendees can bring a household item to be appraised by Roger Snyder. Local musician Richard Wiley will provide entertainment.
Country Inn and Suites on East College Avenue will provide a courtesy shuttle to and from the event. Reservations for the shuttle are required; ticket holders can call 234-1923 to reserve a spot.
Tickets for the event are $50 per person and can be purchased at Clothes Mentor, 176 Rolling Ridge Drive, State College, or by contacting Susanna Paul at firstname.lastname@example.org.
