High school baseball: Heeman deals Bellefonte past Claysburg-Kimmel

— Bellefonte’s Darren Heeman allowed just one hit in five scoreless innings on the mound to lead the Red Raider baseball team to a 4-1 win over Claysburg-Kimmel on Wednesday.

Andrew Stover and Taylor Butts each went 2-for-4 with an RBI for Bellefonte (3-4). Trent Fortney also drove in a run. Heeman finished with four strikeouts to get the win, and Mark Armstrong pitched the final two innings.

Bellefonte jumped out to a 1-0 lead when Tanner Day scored in the first inning. The Red Raiders led 4-0 after four innings.
