— Penn State announced Thursday the date for the 2015 Blue-White game: April 18.

The annual intrasquad scrimmage will likely be played in the mid to late afternoon next year, the university said in a news release.

The Nittany Lions, under first-year head coach James Franklin, concluded spring drills with Saturday’s 2014 Blue-White game, which drew an estimated 72,000 fans to Beaver Stadium for a 1:30 p.m. start under sunny skies.

Franklin will join nine other head coaches and nine assistant football coaches in the 17-stop Penn State Coaches Caravan, which starts May 1 in State College and will roll across the state and region. Caravan dates and locations, can be found at: alumni.psu.edu/events/coachescaravan.
