High school boys’ track: Philipsburg-Osceola splits tri-meet

— The Mounties split a tri-meet with Huntingdon and Bellwood-Antis on Thursday.

Philipsburg-Osceola lost to Bellwood-Antis 109-40 but beat Huntingdon 95-50.

Tim Eason and Nick Patrick led the Mounties with individual wins. Eason won the 800-meter run in 2:10.87 while Patrick turned in the meet’s best pole vault height of 9-6. P-O also won the 3,200-meter relay when the team of Patrick, Payton Moore, Mike Shimmel and Eason ran the relay in 9:28.
