High school boys’ track: Bald Eagle Area thumps Tyrone

— Nathan Styles and Zach Moody each were triple winners Wednesday and Bald Eagle Area won 13 of 18 events in an 86-61 win over Tyrone. BEA also competed against Clearfield, falling 90-60.

Styles raced to wins in the 100-, 200- and 400-meter dashes, while Moody led the way in the longer distances of 800, 1,600 and 3,200 meters. The Eagles also won the 400 relayu, and Cody Huyett took first in both the 110- and 300-meter hurdles.

In field events, Tanner Cramer won the shot put, Hunter Hall took the discus, David Gawaralya was tops in the javelin and Evan Kilmer was first in the pole vault.
