Outlaws, Chubby Checker highlight 2014 Grange Fair

Southern rock legends The Outlaws and venerable twister Chubby Checker will headline some of the entertainment at this year’s Grange Fair.

The Centre County Grange Encampment and Fair, which runs Aug. 21-28 in Centre Hall, announced its headliner entertainment on its website April 15. The schedule includes:

Aug 22: Bill Anderson

Aug 23: Nashville Bluegrass Band

Aug 24: The Swon Brothers

Aug 25: Jason Crabb

Aug 26: Chubby Checker and The Wildcats

Aug 27: The Outlaws

The Grange Fair, in its 140th year, is a weeklong celebration at the Grange Fairgrounds that includes live entertainment, rides, food, games, competitions and camping.

General admission season tickets are $15, with children 11 and under are free, and one-day single admission is $6. Parking for the day is also $6 and for the week, $16.
