Woman escapes injuries in rollover crash in Boggs Township

A Boggs Township woman rolled her vehicle on Pleasantview Boulevard in Boggs Township at 1:35 p.m. Friday afternoon.

State police at Rockview said Bonnie Mesmer, 57, lost control of her vehicle on the 1100 block of Pleasantview, causing it to leave the road and flip after hitting an embankment, eventually stopping in a wooded area.

Mesmer, who wasn’t injured, will be charged with a summary traffic violation, police said.

Milesburg Volunteer Fire Department, Bellefonte EMS, Bellefonte Police and Rich’s Towing assisted.
