SHIPPENSBURG — With a win in the 3,200-meter relay, State College finished third as a team at the 88th annual Jack Roddick Shippensburg University High School Track and Field Invitational at Seth Grove Stadium on Saturday.
The Lady Little Lions racked up 49 points to trail Cumberland Valley’s 63 and Harrisburg’s 55.
The 3,200 relay team of Emma Cousins, Natasha Fedkina, Kaelyn Yoder and Victoria Crawford turned in the victory in 9:24.97.
Other high finishes on the track included Haley Crawford, who was fourth in the 100-meter dash and fifth in the 200; Victoria Crawford, who was sixth in the 400; Hannah Catalano, who was seventh in the 1,600; Rachel Wylie, who was fifth in the 100 hurdles; and Emily Randolph, who was fifth in the 300 hurdles.
The 400 relay team of Niara Valentine, Monye Valentine, Taylor Campbell and Haley Crawford was third, while the 3,200 relay team of Chandley Book, Yoder, Fedkina and Victoria Crawford was sixth.
Megan Fry was fourth in the pole vault, and Veronika Karpenko took seventh in the triple jump and eighth in the triple jump.
