Police: Clerk steals cash from beer sales

Money from beer sold in a Philipsburg area store was not making it in to the register, police say.

According to state police at Philipsburg, between March 12 and April 12, Mitchell A. Dolbow, 27, Clearfield, sold 64 cases of beer at Genna Beer Distributor in Decatur Township, Clearfield County, voiding the sale in the company computer and pocketing the cash. Total value of the missing beer was estimated at $1,322.

Polcie say Dolbow was caught on surveillance video committing the crimes.

Charges of theft by deception are being filed.
