Homeless man says he was assaulted at State College hotel

Police responded to an incident Friday at 10:23 a.m. at Best Western Plus University Park Inn and Suites.

State College police said a 32-year-old man from Ivytown met a homeless 57-year-old man at a nearby McDonald’s and invited him back to his room.

After an argument, the Ivytown man asked the homeless man to leave.

The homeless man then proceeded to the front desk, naked, and said he had been assaulted.

Police said neither party was treated, and no charges are being filed at this time.
