From CDT staff reportsApril 21, 2014

A one-vehicle crash occurred Monday morning in Marion Township.

State police at Rockview said that when Nicholas Hoover, of Howard, was driving on Sand Ridge Road, his left tire slid in the gravel shoulder while negotiating a curve. Hoover overcorrected for the skid, sliding across the road and striking an embankment. The 2001 Chevrolet Blazer rolled over, coming to rest on its roof in the westbound lane.

The vehicle sustained minor damage and was towed from the scene.

Hoover had minor cuts and refused treatment. He received a summary traffic citation.
