The Patriots scored three runs in the sixth to take a 3-0 lead. Ken Craig singled and Derek Van Horn followed with a double to start the seventh inning for State College (5-2). Chris Adams and Jonathan Bergman came through with back-to-back RBI singles. Alec Lose then drove in another run on a single, and State College took the lead on a Red Land error.

But Red Land loaded the bases in the bottom half, and Zach Newmyer tied it with an RBI single. The Patriots scored the winner on Eric Dressler’s fielder’s choice.

Lose went 2 for 3 to lead State College.
