High school softball: State College falls in final inning to Red Land

— State College unraveled in the seventh inning, allowing five unearned runs in a 7-4 loss to Red Land on Monday.

The Lady Little Lions (6-3) took a 4-1 lead heading to the seventh after an RBI double by Brenna Adams and a two-run single by Michaela Rittenhouse. Rittenhouse, Sharaya Simco and Sarah Bastian each had two hits to lead State College.

The Lady Little Lions committed two errors to contribute to Red Land’s six-run seventh inning.
