High school softball: Bald Eagle Area drops pitchers’ duel to Central Mountain

— Bald Eagle Area only managed four hits and committed four errors in a 2-1 loss to Central Mountain on Monday.

Makennah Dyke allowed two unearned runs and six hits for the Lady Eagles (7-2). The Wildcats (8-0) scored their runs in the first and second innings on sacrifice flies by Lauren Russell and Avery Shaffer.

Mackenzie Proctor drove in BEA’s run on a fifth-inning single.
