High school baseball: Philipsburg-Osceola starts hot in win against Tyrone

— The Mounties got big offensive contributions behind a steady pitching effort and beat the Tyrone Golden Eagles 13-5 on Tuesday.

Tanner Wilson got P-O (3-5) started with a first-inning triple that plated two runs. It was the beginning of a seven-run first for the Mounties who cruised the rest of the way. Logan Williamson added a three-RBI triple in the fifth and Caleb Pepperday lasted four innings and gave up just three runs on two hits to keep the Golden Eagles at bay.

Nick Gray and Williamson combined to close out the game while Gray and Curtis Matsko added RBIs for P-O.
