High school track and field: St. Joseph’s competes on road at Hollidaysburg

— St. Joseph’s Catholic Academy competed against Hollidaysburg and Indiana on Wednesday.

In the boys’ meet, Kahsim Buey (100 and 200) and Brian Hackman (1600 and 800) each won a pair of individual events. Eli Urban (3,200) and Mike Jabco (javelin) also had wins.

Jabco (long jump), Charlie Ross (300 hurdles) and Sam DeNezza (shot put) each had second-place finishes.

Monica Surovec’s trimph in the 400 paced the girls’ team. Kate Ott (second in the 800), Asara Clark (second in shot put), Grace Cousins (third in 800) and Marissa Wenrick (third in javelin) also recorded high finishes for the Wolves.
