Two Lemont residents are in jail after a search warrant was executed for their home Wednesday.

The state police North Central Strike Force Unit executed the warrant after an undercover narcotics investigation identified Sean H. Raines, 41, and Malorie A. Lane, 24, of 707 Elmwood St. as allegedly distributing controlled substances.

Police said that while searching the residence, they turned up cocaine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and about $4,000 in cash.

Raines was charged with three counts of manufacture, delivery or possession with intent and three counts of conspiracy, both felonies, and three misdemeanor counts each of controlled substances and possession of paraphernalia. He was lodged at Centre County Correctional Facility after being unable to post $50,000 monetary bail.

Lane was charged with one count each of manufacture, delivery or possession, conspiracy and criminal use of a communication facility, all felonies. She was also incarcerated, in lieu of $10,000 monetary bail.

Preliminary hearings for both are scheduled for May 7.
