High school boys’ lacrosse: State College keeps Palmyra at bay

— The Little Lions got off to a quick start and held off Palmyra 11-9 on Thursday.

State College led 6-2 at halftime and scored five goals in the second half to keep Palmyra chasing the lead. Sam Schwab led State College with five goals while Matt De LaNuez and PJ Bachman each tallied a pair.

Nathan King and Jon Seighman also scored for State College (8-5) while Bachman, Kevin Reid and Jack Sheehan notched assists.

Noah Schwab made 12 saves in the State College goal.
