High school girls’ track and field: Bald Eagle Area relay team finishes third at Bellwood-Antis Invite

— Bald Eagle Area’s 3,200-meter relay team placed third for the team’s top finish at the Bellwood-Antis Invitational on Monday.

The team of Madelynn Holderman, Angel Kottwitz, Maddie Cingle and Alyssa Butterworth finished in 11:05.21. Butterworth also took fourth in the 800 (2:37.16), and Cingle was sixth in the 3,200 (12:55.20). Holderman, Butterworth, Sarah VanCise and Caylee McCaslin finished fifth in the 1,600 relay (4:37.60). Michelle Kachik finished fifth in the pole vault (8-0), and Jordan Gile finished fifth in the javelin (98-7).

Asara Clark set a school record for Saint Joseph’s in the shot put with a throw of 29-11.
