High school girls’ lacrosse: McGlaughlin leads State College past Carlisle

— State College’s Caitlin McGlaughlin scored seven goals to lead the Lady Little Lions to a 19-8 win over Carlisle on Thursday.

McGlaughlin also reached the 100-goal mark for her career. Caroline Friberg and Kendall Loviscky each scored four goals, and Carrie Mahon and Brooke Shaffer each scored twice for State College, which led 9-4 at halftime.

Megan Klaus made a team-high nine saves for the Lady Little Lions (11-4).
