High school softball: Philipsburg-Osceola’s Williams gives up two hits in win over Huntingdon

May 2, 2014

— Morgan Williamson pitched a two-hitter and Philipsburg-Osceola beat Huntingdon 6-1 on Friday.

Williamson got limited offensive helps as the Mounties combined for just six hits on the afternoon. They were enough, however.

Haley Frank batted in three runs and was 3-for-3 on the afternoon. Tiffani Wagner turned in the other RBI for Philipsburg-Osceola.

The Mounties didn’t allow Huntingdon to score until the sixth inning. Immediately afterward, P-O opened up with a four-run bottom of the sixth that was enough to seal the game.
