Letter to the editor | Educating new parents

May 3, 2014

I have been a board member and teacher for the Childbirth Education Association of State College for almost three years.

Over the years, I have been seen the impact this amazing organization has in our community. As a baby care teacher, I get to see parents-to-be in our community learn things from diapering to feeding to baby-proofing — all very valuable things to know when you have a new baby.

To keep this great work going, I am personally donating to the Childbirth Education Association during the upcoming Centre Gives event, and I ask others to do the same.
