Two State College residents report being attacked

Two State College men were taken to Mount Nittany Medical Center early Saturday morning after they told police that six average-looking white men jumped them.

Lt. Mark Argiro said the incident reportedly happened around 1:45 a.m. Saturday near the 500 block of East Calder Way.

A 22-year-old victim reportedly sustained a bump on the left side of his head. The other victim, a 23-year-old man, had a laceration to his right eye.

Police had no further information.
