High school track & field: Penns Valley boys edge St. Joseph’s, East Juniata

— St. Joseph’s Catholic Academy had seven wins, the most of the day, but Penns Valley prevailed with its depth as the Rams earned a pair of wins Monday.

Penns Valley dropped the Wolves 84-60 and East Juniata 77-73.

Kahsim Buey led St. Joes with wins in the 100- and 200-meter dashes, and he was joined by Mikey Kresovich (400), Brian Hackman (800), Eli Urban (1,600), Gabe Sandoval (shot put) and the 1,600 relay team of Kresovich, Urban, Hackman and Buey.

Earning wins for the Rams were Haven Tucker (pole vault), Bryan Wasson (triple jump), Collin Egelhoff (discus) and Duvall (3,200).
