High school track & field: Olsen-Zelman leads Penns Valley girls to pair of wins

— Paced by triple-winner Naomi Olsen-Zelman, Penns Valley won a dozen events and cruised to a 126-20 win over St. Joseph’s Catholic Academy and a 105-41 victory over East Juniata on Monday.

Olsen turned in the top times in both the 100-meter hurdles (17.5 seconds), 300 hurdles (51.9) and had the top leap in the long jump (15 feet, 1 inch). Chelsea Emel added a pair of wins in the shot put (34-3) and discus (108-1/2).

Other winners for the Lady Rams included Jenny Manning (400), Destiny Andrus (200), Angelica Emel (pole vault), Kylie Orndorf (javelin), Yoder (3,200), and the 400 and 3,200 relay teams.

St. Joe's got wins from Grace Cousins (1,600), Kate Ott (800) and the 1,600 relay team.
