— Philipsburg-Osceola broke a five-game losing skid with a 3-1 win over Penns Valley on Wednesday.

Tanner Lamb and Nick Gray chipped in RBIs for P-O (4-10) while Mitch Winters allowed just one run on four hits in 6 1/3 innings of work for the Mounties.

Penns Valley (7-8) was led by Anthony Montressor who turned in the lone RBI for the Rams.
