SPE Credit Union Shred Days a success

SPE Federal Credit Union in Ferguson Township collected more than 15,000 pounds of paper, $1,300 and 587 pounds of food and personal hygiene items during its annual Shred Days event on May 3.

Each year, SPE holds the community shred day to provide people the opportunity to shred their documents, courtesy of Knisely Mobile Shredding.

The event, which was held from 9 a.m. to noon at 650 N. Science Park Road, saw two mobile shred trucks filled by 11 a.m.

All food and money go to local food banks.
