Man found not guilty of domestic dispute charges

Trai Van Shimmel, 27, was found not guilty in a jury trial Monday.

The Osceola Mills man was charged with simple assault, reckless endangerment and harassment after an incident in January with his ex-girlfriend.

Centre County Court of Common Pleas Judge Pamela Ruest presided.

“We accept the jury’s verdict and thank them for their service,” said Centre County District Attorney Stacy Parks Miller.
