High school boys’ volleyball: State College falls to Chambersburg

— State College dropped the final two games in a 3-2 loss to Chambersburg on Thursday.

The Little Lions (7-6) took a 2-1 lead after winning the third game 25-22, but they couldn’t close out the match. The Trojans (8-6) won the fourth game 25-20 to force a fifth, which they took 15-8 to seal the victory.

Deniz Demirci recorded a team-high 16 kills, and Andrew Groves had 13 kills and 19 assists for State College.
