High school girls’ lacrosse: State College pulls away from Central Dauphin

— State College jumped out to a big lead with a heavy offensive assault and cruised past Central Dauphin 16-8 on Thursday.

Caroline Friberg and Caitlin McGlaughlin each scored four goals while Carrie Mahon and Annie Hughes each added three. Renee Olivett scored twice for State College (14-4).

Megan Klaus turned aside 10 shots to preserve State College’s win.
