Penn State basketball: Woodward leaving Nittany Lions

Former Penn State guard Graham Woodward announced Saturday on Twitter that he is transferring to Drake.

Woodward averaged 2.8 points per game and shot a team-high 39 percent from 3-point range as a freshman last season. He played in 31 games, earning six starts and averaging 12.5 minutes for the Nittany Lions.

Drake, in Iowa, went 15-16 and finished tied for eighth with Evansville in the Missouri Valley Conference last season.
