High school baseball: Clearfield edges Philipsburg-Osceola

— Philipsburg-Osceola lost a pitcher’s duel to Clearfield’s Brandon Orsich as the Mounties fell 2-1 on Tuesday.

Orsich tossed a six-hitter with three walks and six strikeouts. He stranded eight P-O baserunners.

Mitch Winters threw an excellent game for the Mounties (5-13), allowing just four hits with two walks and two strikeouts. An error led to the game-winning run.

Logan Williamson belted three hits for the Mounties. Caleb Pepperday singled in P-O’s lone run.
