High school baseball: DuBois blanks Bald Eagle Area

— Bald Eagle Area pitchers gave up 11 hits as DuBois rolled to a 10-0 win in five innings on Tuesday.

The Beavers (16-2) struck for six runs in the first inning and two more in each of their next two at-bats. Jake Felix and Nick LaBrassca each had two hits and drove in two. Ben Hayes blanked the Eagles on five hits.

Ryan Dyke had two hits for BEA.

“DuBois hit the ball real well,” Eagles coach Jim Gardner said. “For the second night in a row we hit the ball well. Most of our outs were hard.”
